Work health and safety under the OEI framework

The Offshore Infrastructure Regulator recently presented Work health and safety under the OEI Framework at an industry forum.

The presentation considered core WHS concepts under the OEI (Offshore Electricity Infrastructure) framework, duties and obligations, standards and Codes of Practice, definitions of regulated offshore activities and obligations as they apply to construction work.

The presentation also explored physical and psychological health, addressing worker health in an OEI management plan, training and competency, and the importance of workforce consultation.
