New guidance on consultation and financial security

The OIR has released new guidance materials on consultation and financial security under the Offshore Electricity Infrastructure Act (OEI Act) framework.

The consultation and engagement guideline provides information about the requirements for licence holders to undertake consultation before applying for approval of a management plan. The guideline also addresses the stakeholder engagement strategy and requirement for ongoing consultation. 

The financial security guideline provides advice in relation to financial security obligations under the OEI Act. The guideline also provides information about compliance monitoring of licence holders' financial security arrangements while the licence is in force.
